Holy smokes. This was a wedding to remember. Lindsay + Mike were married at the incredible Permanent Building in Vancouver, BC and it was a night I know a lot of people will never forget. Lindsay and her girls got ready at the beautiful Shangri-La building, while Mike and the boys kept it anything but casual at the couples downtown home. To say the wedding dress was spectacular doesn't even do it justice - an intricate lace and ballgown creation by Miss Haley Paige, fit the bride like a second skin. The ceremony was intimate and sweet, followed by a champagne toast as the couple sealed the deal with a kiss. But what I loved the most about this day was how open and willing the bride + groom were to letting me in and showing me their intimate emotions. When couples allow me to get creative and have fun with bridal portraits it usually ends in the their favorite images from the day. To end the night off we took a few drinks into the alley and danced around in some smoke bombs, followed by a shirts-off-dance-party. This couple absolutely threw it down, and the result was one of the best weddings I've ever attended...working or not!
