My approach to photography is non-intrusive, I like to step back and let things unravel in front of me. If you or anyone in the session feels nervous or uncomfortable in front of the camera, I can absolutely help with body positioning and movement to create ease in the photo. While I try not to 'pose' any of my photos, I will always do my best to get a beautiful family portrait in every session.

I like to book maternity sessions after momma has reached 30 weeks - this timing usually works well because mom has a nice round bump that hasn’t yet dropped, and she is hopefully still feeling energetic!

The maternity session will last around 45 min and is a collection of candid and lifestyle images. You will receive a gallery of online images that are edited + high-res, ready to print. This gallery usually has around 50 photos.

Newborn photos can happen anytime mom + dad are ready for me to come into their space. I will come to your home for the newborn session and am happy to work around time of day that suits new little babe. I usually suggest booking the newborn session within the first 10 days of baby being born - but really it can happen at anytime. I want you to be healthy and happy before you worry about photos.

To organize the newborn session of this combined package, I just ask that you contact me anytime after baby arrives. Once mom + baby are home and settled, we can chat about a time that works for everyone. Newborn sessions usually happen within the first 10 days after birth, but most important is that mom feels ready to welcome me into the home.

Newborn sessions are 1 hour in length and usually provide around 75 images.
